But why do we have to drink these when we have healthier options of homemade seasonal drinks which can be prepared in jiffy
Squeeze out the lime juice and add water according to the lemons used. To this add sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, pepper powder, chat masala in required quantities and mix the well. Finally add some fresh mint leaves and enjoy.

Soak kokum overnight or fro 2 to 3 hours in lukewarm water. Filter 2 to 3 times through muslin cloth to remove the dry coarse skin and the fibres. Put in a pan along with sugar and 2 cups of water.
