Holistic practises include both mind and body i.e., both physical and mental wellbeing. Maintaining a balance between physical and mental state is extremely important for a human body. Our ancestors followed this holistic approach of wellbeing to keep their body and mind fit for any forthcoming situation. They are as follows
- Having milk with turmeric and honey everyday helps prevent insomnia and promote good sleep.
- Applying castor oil/sesame oil/coconut oil in navel (belly button) before sleep helps in cooling down body’s heat and helps in burning down extra calories
- Drinking a bottle(500ml) full of water everyday in the morning helps in flushing out toxins and regulates bowel movements. It is extremely effective for those having trouble with bloating and other gastric issues.
